Maximizing Impact Through Grants

The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is thrilled to announce 2025 Competitive Grant Awardees. Thanks to the generosity of Tin Cup Challengers, the Community Foundation was able to award seventeen Competitive Grants to nonprofits in Teton Valley through this year’s Competitive Grant Program. These grants support local nonprofits that effectively address community needs, including increasing housing for those in crisis, expanding childcare opportunities, improving recreational access, and helping prevent food insecurity, to name a few.

Thanks to the generosity of Tin Cup Challengers and direct donations to the Grant Fund, the Community Foundation awarded seventeen competitive grants to Teton Valley. The Grant Committee allocated $80,000 directly to local organizations to support programs and projects that will enhance lives throughout Teton Valley. Additionally, the Community Foundation provided $5,000 from the Opportunity Fund, which addresses emergent needs.

Thirty-six organizations submitted applications requesting over $200,000, resulting in an exceptionally competitive process. Our dedicated volunteer Grant Committee gave equal weight and attention to each application as they collaborated to determine this targeted funding. Eight proposals received full funding, while nine were partially funded. By backing these projects today, the Foundation helps support the future of these organizations and their dedicated programs. Awardees gathered at the Teton Geo Center to celebrate the $85,000 granted to support critical community needs.

Since 2008, the Foundation has awarded over $1 million through Competitive Grants, Community Emergency Response, Opportunity Fund, and Youth Philanthropy Awards. You make this direct impact in support of critical needs in our community possible.
