Both ways of giving are equally important to this model. Designated Gifts provide operational funds that help ensure staff capacity and longevity. Challenger funds provide a partial Matching Grant, Competitive Grants, Youth Philanthropy grants, and Workshops that help advance the missions of local nonprofits.
